It pains me to see such a beautiful body covered by that pickguard (but, the black is the way to go).  Nice!
I concur, but I think it looks fantastic with the black PG. It fit's perfectly with the color of the finish...

+1

Black hardware and pick guard will make that guitar POP!!

i wasn't sure about all the black before, but that looks great!

+1.

Shame the top had to be covered, but the black pickguard gives it a great look.

I still need some shims for the floyd nut before I put the strings on. Here's a couple of more pictures anyway.

I agree too.  I tend to stay away from Top routes but basic black was the best way to go..

I too love the fretboard!

I'm impressed. That's a beautiful instrument. Not only that, it's going to sound and play like a dream.

I just thougth it would be fun to try HSH on a strat for a change. It's like a Charvel "So Cal" but with an extra singel coil, vintage tint neck and a nice top

I love middle SC's, but I'm torn between SC and HB for the neck position.

I really dig this guitar, I can't wait to see it completed....

Damn, that thing is looking good.  Really like the single ply black pickguard.  There's no room for a white stripe on this build.  Smiley

I kind of wanted the same effect as my other warmoth build.

Dont you hate it when the build of your guitar grinds to a halt because some expected parts that is to be delivered dont come in time.    Huh?
Its probably the mailman. He seems to have dyselexia and drops the mail in the wrong mailboxes.

Cool neckplate by the way. I might have to order a black and a gold one from you soon
