.45's ??  Where I come from the ladies and children use .45's. I prefer 50 cal. and magnums for the handheld business myself.  Or are you referring to vinyl records? I do not even own a turntable sir. But let me also tell you pal if I'm ever in Belgum the first thing I'm gonna do is get me some badass waffles. So let me ask why do feel justified to call names but not be called a name in return ?

so i bought it. but after i bought it, i think this item no showcase price.
i pay the custom order price to get showcase neck. this is a reason that i want to return it and get a custom order.

I guess I have a higher BS threshold than most.  This is a new developement not mentioned until now.  I thought you were unhappy with the amount of flame on the fretboard and the fact that they didn't match.  Now it's the price....that you already paid?

My friend, if you are unhappy with that flame and think you paid to much, do not take Nando's advice of going 5A.

Not all showcases items are discounted

BINGO!!! Select a gift you smart young man.

I think I saw this neck in the Showcase.

Our OP wants to return it, is not happy with it? Firstly because the figuring/flaming wasn't consistent from front to back? Then says it was because there wasn't any discount? Are these assumptions correct?

I don't think you'd get much better neck if you specified a 5A, maybe a little better but not much. And the OP might not get a  chance to see it before it's built either...

I don't know if Warmoth would accept the goods back, I mean, if his beef is about the price he paid instead of some defect that he has now seen, do Warmoth have any obligation to someone who didn't do their research and check the prices of having one built vs. the Showcase offerings?

To me that neck looks darn near perfect and a beauty. Would look great done up in vintage tint gloss.

Living in Hong Kong, and with the maple neck unfinished, the OP better decide quickly if he wants to talk to Warmoth about a return before the humidity gets to the neck wood.

Weapons? Are you guys five years old? Adults talk to each other. Grow up and stay on topic.

Grow up and stay on topic?  Most of us are having a hard time taking this OP serious.  I've read each post 2-3 times and am still not sure what the OP is asking.

I don't know if its not flamed enough, too flamed, too expensive, he didn't see it before he bought it, and he got it from the showcase, as soon as we get a topic, we'll stay onboard with that.

That omlet and hashbrowns look really good

I know, it's not easy! But I consider yapping about gun calibers to be pretty off topic in any thread... I mean just get yourselves some rulers, zip down and measure and be done with it. Sheesh. If you can't contribute to a thread, don't post!

This is really strange. If you bought it from the showcase surely you must have seen exactly what kind of figuring the neck did/didn't have? If you custom order, you won't have that possibility.

What do you mean you guys. Did you read the post? Don't act as if I was talking about using weapons to solve something as trivial as a forum disagreement. Just shut up. You stay on the topic. You are no better.

Just shut up.

Well, before the might of such exquisitely crafted argumentation I stand speechless. Good day to you.

This used to be the most laid back and funny (remember fun?) forum I'd ever seen, but I've had enough of this dopey, cave dweller attitude nonsense. If any of you other guys need me just send me a PM.

I'm thinking I'm gonna be making myself an omelet tomorrow morning!  BTW - you guys should see the flame I've got on the wooden spoon that I use to mix the batter!

I'm glad you found a spoon flamey enough for your liking. It would suck to have to send it back for the 5A version.
