Lighten up guys, this thread has gone nowhere from the word go, so be ourselves and have fun. I don't see anyone flaming anyone here, except the flame neck, we're just poking friendly fun.
As soon as we get a translator, we will help the OP

I'll take the Maton!
If not, maybe a little muff pedal (and some short cables) :p

He he, neither! That Maton is with me forever, and the Little Big Muff is going no where either..
As for the short cables, GC is your friend.
Good luck getting a return on this neck for the OP. It does sound like he's just not happy with the product as he sees it, now realises there's possibly a better standard of neck to be bought (by going 5A and custom build) and doesn't want this one now. Given the fact the neck has now travelled to Hong Kong in an unfinished state, I'd doubt that Warmoth would want to do him any favours. Neck could come back to Warmoth looking like a pretzel after all the atmospheric changes. If there was some sort of defect he noticed, or it was damaged in transit, different story.
BTW, has the OP responded since this Thread went into freefall.?........

i am sorry to reply too late.
finally i have not return the neck to warmoth. this neck flame is fine to me.
and i need to pay $600 if i get 5A flame maple neck, but warmoth can't give me the photo of 5A flame maple neck. sound like i gamble.so i choose to keep it finally.
i will upload photo later. i have spray lacqure, flame look fine. but do anyone know how to clean the fret lacqure?
also, i choose 6230 fret to 10-16 compound radius. am i wrong? my friend say compoud radius should use 6105 fret

i dont know why everyone is being so weird about this, but i dont know what you want us to tell you either. atleast you got to see what you were getting, if you order a 5a flame it will be flamed and im sure you be satisfied. showcase prices often start out at full price unless it is a return, a mistake(like paint didnt come out right so they paint it black over the original color) or has sat there too long and no one bought it. if you are not satisfied there is nothing wrong with getting what you really want but they cant guarantee anything, you can ask about using the same piece of wood, im sure at some point they have blanks that are too big and they rip them down so feel free to ask, maybe they can start with a bass blank or something, but it might cost you alot of money or they might say no right off the bat. if you need it to be perfect and some people do, a custom builder would be a better place to start. warmoth products are great but sometimes people want something specific and it sounds like you are one of those people.

I get the horrible feeling that we have been poking fun at somebody because of a language issue, and being as international a bunch as we are that should not have happened.
Kwm488, I'm curious why you spent a lot of money on a neck without doing more research. You could have asked questions about the showcase, about the amount of flame, about the FB radius or about the fret size, both here on the forum or with a small email to the Warmoth sales staff before buying the neck. It would have made your purchase much more fun because you would have been confident that you were getting what you wanted.
Things are done, so I suggest we try to be as helpful as we can be. You asked how to remove the spray paint from the frets. There are basically two ways. The first is to mask off the fretboard (use the blue masking tape that is less sticky) and use very fine steel wool on the frets. The second is to just leave it on. As soon as you play the paint will come off.

+1 on all counts. Although I remember most all of the words, if I write something in German, my grammar in that language will be pretty stilted as well....

I don't know. I think we all looked past the grammar and knew what he meant. Besides, he changed his mind for returning from the flaming to the showcase price. I think we got that in spite of the grammar.
