I'm looking to sell some of my stuff to help pay for a Warmoth build and I'd like to know what a reasonable asking price is.

I have a Peavey Classic Chorus 212 solid-state amp - has two 75 watt speakers, distortion, chorus, reverb and a foot switch.  Everything works, but the gain knob needs a jiggle to get it going.

I also want to get rid of my Ibanez S470.  Black, stock pickups and licensed Ibanez Floyd Rose bridge.  It's about 12 years old.  Everything works fine, no warps.  I find my fingers too big for the neck.

If I were to walk into Guitar Center or a pawn shop, how much do you think they'll give for them?

I had a Peavey Classic Chorus 212 that I sold for $300...about 12 years ago.  How old is the amp?  I would guess $150 for the amp and 200-300 for the guitar if its in good shape.

GC or a pawn shop will lowball you with their " I'll give you $50 for that "  speech.

It'd be better to list them on cragislist or on forums first.

Thanks!

I was hoping to get close to $500 for everything.  When I get time, I'll take photos and post sound clips.

The amp is right about 15 years old.  Putting an EQ in the loop really sounds good.

The guitar is around 8 years old - maybe a bit more.  But it's been taken care of.
