I've done the work on my last two Warmoths myself and have been quite pleased.  However, this new baritone neck that I have makes me a little nervous.  Since the truss rod adjustment is in the heel, How can I know how much to adjust before attaching it to the body?  I suppose I can just slap it...

Well, after a bone headed move on my part, I have an orphan baritone neck that is awaiting a body.  I'm not sure if I am going to move the bridge on the body that I have to compensate for the wrong scale, or just buy another body.  In any event, W did not disappoint... And props again...

I am hoping that a meaty Jaguar body, jangly pickups and a ziricote over goncalo neck will make for a magical baritone.  Doug has the neck plate done, the neck is in the throws of W production, but after today's tooling, the body is ready...

Does the neck pickup rout seem a little shallow on a standard flat top Warmoth Tele? I suppose my neck pickup may be a little taller than average, but after installing my neck pickup today, it seems to rise a little too high.  The fix seems fairly easy (a deeper rout) but I thought I'd ask.

I see pics of gloss finishes on maple necks posted here on a regular basis.  Is the satin nitro finish on maple necks not very popular, or are they just not shown off very much?  I'd like to see what it looks like and hear your opinions on how it feels.
