    Beautiful Bakersfield

Anyone know a good tech in Bakersfield?  Such strong musical roots here, I'd think there'd be someone capable of putting my bass together (with somewhat complex wiring, I anticipate.) And before you ask, no, I'm not planning a Buck Owens tele build next  :laughing7:

New Fretless build in progress, updated with pics

'Sup gang! It's been, wow, nearly a decade since my last build. I bought this neck from the showcase I am planning for now to use black hardware, and given the weight of the neck, I want to use lighter tuners.  I tentatively plan to use walnut w/ koa lam for the body, which should be heavy...

I'm sorry! Another stupid TruOil Thread...

I have applied 4 or 5 coats.  There seems to be a "finish" on the neck.  I was thinking I'd just smooth it out with some 0000 wool until it felt soft and then jam. My question is for the warranty to apply, and for me to have a neck that wont be prone to warping, what is the MINIMUM number of...

To those thinking about their first Warmoth:

Do it!!!! --BUT... Be patient. Look at every single guitar, AND every single bass (even ones you DON'T like).  Look at every single page of the website.  Every piece of Unique choice wood for every guitar and every bass.  Maybe not every single unfinished, top routed alder strat body ;) but...
