    Warmoth (Half-Moth) P-bass

I really like the gray pick guard on this beauty.  The standard white pick guard on a black bodied p-bass just doesn't look good to me.

First Warmoth build(s), first post and a tuner hole question!

Well, Vallhagen,  that is amazing. Would this method work for those pesky ferrules? You have my vote for the Nobel Science Prize!

    3 Big Exotics_Which One?

My favorite neck right now is a roasted maple with a rosewood fret board.  I got it with a 12 inch radius and it has a Gibby like feel to it.  A shorter scale and a skinny neck would have taken it even closer to that dark side.

    Trem block Material?

If you're having a neck drive problem,  use steel. If you want your guitar to be lighter, use aluminum.

Your experiences with Quartersawn and Roasted maple necks?

I have a roasted maple neck with a rosewood fret board. I didn't really notice any different or special about the tone of the neck from what I expect from a maple neck. But, the neck has a smooth silky feel about it which is really nice. If you are worried about stability of the neck get a...

They don't make them like they used to

They don't make them like they used to

Modern electric guitars are far superior to their "Vintage" counter part in every way. Other than the workmanship the biggest issue I have with "Vintage" guitars is the ratio of fake to genuine guitars.

    Warmoth stories, myths, and folklore.

Well Mr Jet-Jaguar, I'd have the Warmoth Custom Shop it at it.

We haven't ragged on eBay auctions lately...

And the answer is...  The "** Kramer ** Telecaster *RARE* American Classic '52 Butterscotch Fender Tele" is a Music Yo creation.  You can probably buy a better guitar today for $69.95.

    Seraphina

I use beeswax to clean guitars.  Smear on and rub off with a clean cloth.  The dirt lifts right off.  On unfinished wood, the residue disappears in about a week.
