    Diamondback Build (Pearl White)

I was trying to decide what I wanted to build. I made calls and sent emails, and I decided to build a pearl white Diamondback guitar, and am matching the neck finish to the body, and chrome hardware. Seymour Duncan Saturday Night Special alnico four humbuckers will make it sing. I hope to post...

    Regal Build

How did you get a regal body without binding? I would love to order one of those.

    Jazzmaster Wiring "issues"

Thank you. I have wired Telecasters, Stratocasters, and many others. This is my first foray into Jazmasters. I hate sounding like a noob after working on guitars since the mid-1990s. I have this wealth of knowledge here, and people tend to be relaxed about sharing.

    Jazzmaster Wiring "issues"

When it says: "ground to brass shield," what is it talking about? Is that the copper shield tape, the bridge, or is there a part I need to buy?

2 Tek Bridge! Where to ground?

No, sir, all stock Jazzmaster trem and setup. I am on my second wiring kit, trying to figure out which wiring diagram is correct and then trying to mirror it for a lefthanded guitar.

2 Tek Bridge! Where to ground?

I have wired many guitars, but the Jazzmaster is stumping me, and I am wiring a left-handed Jazzmaster.

    Jazzmaster Wiring "issues"

The only part that made things confusing is that I am building a left-handed model, but it wires up the same way.

    WEBSITE UPGRADE

It's a little buggy, but I like where they are going with the site. Why remove the ability to sort by left/right?

    Jazzmaster Wiring "issues"

Greetings, Over the years, I have wired many guitars, but I am wiring my first Jazzmaster. The parts I bought have two of them (fender pickups and Toneworks wiring kit), and I could use some wisdom on that, and a correct wiring diagram might go a long way too. Thank you!

    Left Handed Bridges

Thank you for reading the OP, but do not throw out all of the other details that I have given you. Yes, I have the original 1999 tremolo system (not going to repeat the dimensions), and I am looking to upgrade the whole thing if I can, or at least the block and saddles. I will contact Callaham.

    Left Handed Bridges

Something with a block made from brass, Aluminium, or steel. A plate and saddles that are cut from steel or brass sheet and pressed/bent into shape. I am not concerned with a brand name; I am focused on quality.

    Left Handed Bridges

Yeah, I found the exact items that you did, and that is why I posted here. I was looking for something better than the original hardware. Made from "Pot metal" means something made out of poorly recycled scrap metal poured in a mold. It is a common phrase, and you should learn it. Despite...

    Left Handed Bridges

Thank you for your post is helpful, and I will clean out the browser data. I found all of those four results on my own when I searched before I posted here. You just proved my point. The results are cheap pot-metal, or they are near or above $200. I will pay $200 for quality if that is my...

    Left Handed Bridges

Thank you! I looked at it, but it was not the correct size. I have a narrow string spacing of 2 1/16 Oh well, I will keep looking. Apparently, according to another helpful soul, there are many that I have not found yet using Google. I will keep looking.

    Left Handed Bridges

Cool story! I used Google many times before posting here, using many different terms, and I found cheap things made of pot-metal or things priced over $200. Thank you, I will check our HiTech. If you "came up with a number of LH 6pt bridges with 2 1/16 mounting and 2 1/16 string," share...

    Left Handed Bridges

OK, look at this picture. You will see through the hole (where you would attach the tremolo bar) that the plate and the block are off by 1/8 of an inch or more.
