Why no roasted maple body option?

Fwiw, maple bodies sound great. I have no doubt a roasted maple body would sound even better. Twould be lighter too.

Which DAW do you use and why?

I use reaper. It was recommended. It’s cheap. It works. I’ve made a lot of music with mine.

Strat Heel Shape, in a Tele Neck Pocket?

I've done it.  It's fine.  It sounds fine.  It looks fine.  Just do it.

    Instructions, tips on assembly, etc

Be very careful drilling stuff.  Use pieces of tape on the bit to show you where to stop.  I drilled through a body once since Warmoth doesn't do their WRHB holes correctly.  Still my fault for drilling through. Learn how to drill through paint. Use those strap button gaskets if you don't want...

    noodling clip of WGD

Thanks, man!  This Jerry Guitar really plays itself.  Probably my favorite Warmoth I've assembled.

    noodling clip of WGD

SO, I haven't gotten to play much guitar for the last year. I was in a really silly mood on Friday. I decided to clean up my office, and get a little Korg Volca setup going. I used the VOlca FM, the VOlca Beats analog drum machine, and the Volca Modular for some background noise. So, here it is...

    Built a WGD. First Clip

So, I've recently gotten in Grateful Dead.  Not sure why I didn't like it for 37 years, but I love it now. https://soundcloud.com/holidaysintheusa/jerry-guitar-clip-1 Jerry Guitar. Super II in middle position. Maple Body.  Wenge Top.  Roasted Maple Hombre Neck.  Ebony Fingerboard. EQD...

Raw FB Roasted back any issue?

Warmoth doesn’t require a finish on roasted maple, but my rm fingerboard became filthy quickly, and my hand oil isn’t particularly dirty. I recommend a light coating of tru oil to keep it looking nice.

    Modern Construction Jaguar Concern

I have many warmoth necks with modern and vintage/modern. I don't really hear any difference.  I actually hear more of a difference going from standard thin to fatback. FWIW, I prefer the modern neck in all cases.  I get consistently better setups with the double expanding trussrod, and I...

Neck seems to be set too high above body

That's incredibly high.  You could just accept it, and install a Bigbsy B16 on there?????? :headbang4:

    Wood choice for semi-hollow body

Personally, I think maple body with flame maple top would be cool. + Mahogany neck 24.75 conversion + Duncan '59's. Fingerboard is your choice.  Ebony would be cool.

    The Jazz Master

The shape is awesome, and the Warmoth options are great. I've had enough misfortune using the JM trems and bridges to have decided it's Bigsby + TOM for me.  Nothing beats it, IMO.

BK 59 set with Ilitch noise canceling backplate and Fender 63 Vibroverb RI

Sounds Killer.  That's how a strat should sound.  Excellent!  The noise is totally gone, it appears. :headbanging:

Video idea:Compare slanted vs straight bridge humbucker

Ought to have it slanted both ways as well.

First Clip in months. Warmoth Poplar B16 tele custom

Thanks, dude!  Do it!  Build a Warmy Tele.  It will become your #1 guitar.  FWIW, I MUST have a forearm cutout on mine.  Also, the Twin blades and both micro coils are all equally good.  I have both on MANY guitars.  That said, the L48/45 are humbucking with no compromise in killer tone, and...

Forever Young - A redo for a wedding

Dude, great arrangement.  Nice, fun 80's style vocals. I really enjoyed it!  I can see myself wearing sunglasses and wearing a tux right now.  Is a band playing this live at a wedding??  'Twould rock. :guitarplayer2:
