Did anyone make a Purple Tribute Strat build?

I raise you this -- evidence of a true Warmoth unicorn! (It's around the 1:30 mark)

Did anyone make a Purple Tribute Strat build?

I was scanning the ol' Youtube channel and saw the Purple Tribute strat bodies again and, as the title suggests, wonder if anyone got one of the bodies and turned it into a Strat version of Prince's Mad Cat? Goes without saying that posting in this forum means I'm at least interested in knowing...

New video: Top 5 Things To Do While Waiting for your Warmoth Parts

One of my faves that didn't get mentioned is that all the options on a given neck are equippable even on necks you might not normally think you'd be able to use them on. I explained that poorly, but what I mean is, you can have a Gibson-scale Snakehead neck with an ebony fretboard for example. I...

    The thrill of the showcase

I'm not gonna complain about someone else drooling over a build idea in a guitar forum in a thread called "the thrill of the showcase". Otherwise I'd have titled it "The thrill of Cheery Zeery's mythical fiesta red headstock". I do love looking for patterns in the showcase though. There's one I...

    The thrill of the showcase

A green knight build...I can't say I dislike the idea. The degree to which I like it (because liking it is a certainty) probably would be in the execution. That said, I sit patiently for that one special neck to come through. It's gonna be my day one of these days. (If any of you see a neck...

    The thrill of the showcase

It's a wonderful medieval movie starring Heath Ledger in a classic fake-it-til-you-make-it story about jousting. It's full of anachronisms and has no right to be as good as it is.

    The thrill of the showcase

I'm a little upset I didn't come up with this simile.

    The thrill of the showcase

Might have been raised before, but I still want to talk about it. There's a *thrill* to seeing something emerge from the showcase that you didn't know you wanted but definitely now want. For me, it's always gonna be necks that have a painted headstock. I continue to patiently wait for one neck...

What would you do with the "extra hole" {\.|./} ?

Am I too basic for thinking that I'd just use the upper horn to house a master tone knob? Would that even work or is the hole too big? Just seems like the Gretsch thing to do.

    simple 7/8th (super)strat ...

Tangentially related, but I notice that a lot of the in-stock 7/8 Warhead necks are given the Wolfgang neck profile. Is there some kind of relationship/influence between EVH (the person) and 7/8 builds in general? I love looking for little pieces of lore here and there.

    GAS Alert!!!!

A full Nomad set just became available in vintage white! I don't even play the kind of music associated with that shape, and yet it has me tempted. I wonder if these are the same parts used in the original Nomad announcement video? If so, what pickups were used in that demo?

Warmoth in the Wild! Check out this rare Warmoth bird....

I dream of having the charisma to convince Warmoth to make something like that. I can't even work up the nerve to ask if I could get a body with two colors on the competition stripes! (Much love to the paint department, I know they're all backlogged to oblivion)

    GAS Alert!!!!

As someone who has recently been hooked onto the Showcase watch, I was thinking back to something Aaron said about how peculiar it is that someone would wait indefinitely for something to show up on the Showcase when they, in the time it takes for that "something" to show up, could have just...

PUP recommendations for a three pickup hardtail jazzmaster

While I had a luthier do it for me, you could always go off the beaten path and drop the *other* kind of JB pickup in it! The one you see above is a Kent Armstrong pickup, flanked by two SD Antiquities, that I got for a low price that I can't recall (cream cover sold separately). If I were...

[INFO] How to see all new bodies and necks

I decided to go all the way to the end -- I wonder what kinda build would suit that all Purpleheart Nomad neck?

What color is closest to faded heritage cherry?

Hi guys! Was just curious to see what you guys think -- which Warmoth finish most accurately captures this kind of faded vintage cherry shade? I know it can't be the transparent red, which might have too much of a red, almost magenta vibe relative to this. At the same time, is sunset orange...
