Is it maple? When I plan my next 7/8 build I want the heaviest body wood Warmoth offers.

Took a lot of planning but I made a 28 5/8 scale Warmoth short scale bass. It takes medium scale strings and has 24 frets. It’s a baritone neck and Z body. It’s a walnut body with a maple neck and ebony board, with walnut peg head veneer. Had to get 12-16 compound radius so the zero glide nut...

This has probably been discussed before but will there ever be roasted mahogany necks or bodies same with walnut? Or does it only work with super hard woods like maple and ash?

It's probably been said before but a 4 string with gecko construction, 34 inch scale.

It would be cool to have both of these. The Shawn Lane Viger has a flat radius and Those Allan Holdsworth Carvin's have a 20 inch radius. Looking around the net people really dig that flat radius for the lowest non buzzing action possible. I'd like to try it but those Viger's are too expensive...

Does anyone have this contour? What do you think of it? I've been itching to build a tele and just bought a peavey reactor awhile back which has an extremely fat neck 12 inch radius and low wide frets. This neck feels ultra comfortable to me. It's much fatter than any strat or les paul.

I don't know how many of you can site read or know all the notes of the neck instantly but my new quest is to learn every thing about music I can. I know way too much about fret wire size, amps, tone woods, scale length, tuners etc...

I'm done tung oiling the neck here it is. Maple/Pau Ferro, 6100 nickel frets. I'll post the final guitar picture soon in the sun light, the lighting isn't too great in this picture. I have all the parts including a warmoth pickguard.

It's poplar. Best body tone wood to my ears, neck woods makes the biggest difference but poplar sounds great. I know you all agree :glasses9:

I know there are 7/8 guitars on the forum but how about the strat or tele ones with the warhead headstock with the 24 frets? I can't find any pictures of these guitars put together :dontknow:
