    learn to use tools I mean how are you going to mark and start holes for drilling so the bit does not wander learn to tape so you do not mar the finish learn patience I wish someone had told me those 3 things I messed up a lot the first time around

    best necks I ever got are one piece goncalo alves. after years of playing the 2 teles I put them on they just get better. No finish required so they never get sticky onstage. and they have a great tone. Just my 2 cents
