All Warmoth; two Teles and a Strat. The acoustic is one of those formica-bodied Martins plus some software acoustics doubling it.

I filled my Soundcloud page up and switched to Hearthis.at which is more user-friendly even if it has...
After getting help from forum members here I sorted out my Strat pickup arrangements. Here's the Warmoth I assembled in August, now with Bill Lawrence Keystones in the neck and middle (heard only on rhythm in this track) and a Dragonfire Screamer in the bridge replacing the Kinman Extra Vintage...
i built a Warmoth Strat 25 years ago and still play it, but I was never satisfied with the pickups (tried various different ones) or the old vintage trem. I finally bit the bullet and put a set of Areas in it and a Super Vee. Transformed the guitar! Here's what it sounds like on this tune...
I ran out of hookup wire, but I realized that I had a potential source that's virtually unlimited available: Christmas tree lights that don't work. Everybody has a string or two of these damn things, right? They give you spare bulbs and fuses, but it's just never possible to get them working...
Up-Update: I redid the Warmoth, swapping the neck and middle, and their leads to the switch. Problem solved. I simply cannot think this stuff through, so I really appreciate the help.
Actual photo of me, trying to think this through:
DuckBaloo, it works. I found this out in a sort of ironic way. I built up a pickguard with a SD JB in the bridge and two of my '73 Strat rewounds and stuck it on an old Squier test Strat. I used the Duncan wiring which only uses a 5 way switch but gives you the HB, the split HB and middle...
Yeah, I don't want the active half to be the one next to the bridge. As it is now, it's the other one and I like the way it sounds, so I'm going to try just swapping the neck and middle. Thank you.
I like it! It would give me a little bit different wrap ratio than I usually choose for neck to middle, but that's a good idea, and it hadn't occurred to me. I'm still going to assemble the other pickguard first and then pop it in while the Warmoth is apart, then I can put the Warmoth guard...
Yes, the neck and middle are hum cancelling, and give the proper quack Fender sound. I can't give you a diagram without taking it apart, LOL.
From Lindy Fralin's site:
Problem #3:
Both Pickups are the same coil direction and magnetic orientation.
These pickups will be in phase, however, they...
A superswitch would give more possibilities, but I don't need more possibilities, just the few right ones. I have other Strats that are happy with a HSS setup, it's just a question of getting the combination right. I have a 5 way switch with a separate mini switch for the HB toggle. Really, the...
When I first installed these pickups I had the single coils reversed from where they are now and I had the awful 1970s Country out-of-phase sound when using the split Kinman and the middle, so I already reversed the single coils, which have to be treated as a pair to retain their proper tone...
I put together a Warmoth Strat this summer (one tune here: https://www.unofficialwarmoth.com/index.php?topic=32385.0) and I've been living with a minor problem that I'm tired of so I'd like to fix it. The guitar has a Kinman HB (Vintage Astound, older version with only 3 wires, not 4) and two...
