I would like to age humbuckers to better match an instrument.  Would something like a Scotchbrite pad be sufficient for removing the logos and taking the shine off of the bobbins? I was also considering maybe a drop of vinegar on the pole pieces to age those.  Other suggestions?

Been testing different primers and sealers.  I started with Aquacoat products. They worked well enough.  Been researching the Duplicolor High build primer and primer sealer.  The high build primer would be fine for closed grains like alder but I think the Aquacoat would be the choice for things...

Do you assemble the instrument before doing finish work? Would having the bridge inserts in the body before finish be an issue?
