    My new Velocity build

That's unfortunate.  But, the exotic options are a  lot fewer than they used to be.  Zebrawood used to be a standard neck option, at least with the Warmoth headstock necks.  I got mine about 8 or 9 years ago.

    My new Velocity build

That's going to be a beautiful build.  The Velocity with a short-scale neck is really fun to sling around.  I saw that you changed from a Zebrawood neck.  It's all good, but it you decide to go that route in the future, Zebrawood makes a great neck; I have one. Looking forward to seeing your...

    I'll just put this here.

Thank you for the kind words.  Good to see you again, too.  :occasion14: Thanks.  :glasses9: No complaints about my ghetto iPad recording?  :toothy12:  Thanks, dude, on both counts. Wow, I'll take it.  Thanks We all experience setbacks to one degree or another.  I survived.  Thank...

    Superstition and some Warmoths

OMG, dude, that was fantastic.  Your sons can really play.  As was said, you must be really proud.

    I'll just put this here.

Lots of life changes over the past couple of years.  The dust is finally settling.  Can't put all of that experience to waste.  Within it, there is a lot of inspiration.  Add to that slowing down, and trying to think melodically.  Thinking melodically is a new thing for me.  If I came up with...

    Electro-Cheese

Kind of reminds me of some old school New Order, like an intro into a dance groove.  :icon_thumright:

    "Surfing" with my first Warmoth

L.O.L...  Not the shave my head part, the stand-in part.  You're too kind, seriously.  But thanks.  :icon_biggrin: Very cool of you to say about the dedication.  It has been a lot of rewarding work.  Agree that Joe is an amazing player.  I consider myself a solid intermediate, possibly high...

The moment you decided to play the guitar

Great stories, so far. I was a senior in high school, washing my mini truck on a weekend.  I had the radio on to keep me entertained during this menial task.  This was in 1982. Iron Maiden's "The Trooper" came on the radio.  I had never heard it before.  I stopped washing and listened intently...

    "Surfing" with my first Warmoth

Dig the new forum appearance! Finally, that 12 seconds is at 100%.  Now to move on to the rest of the song (The Forgotten, Part II). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9L7ppxCIMHI

    "Surfing" with my first Warmoth

Thanks for the feedback, Kevin. The tab shows a slide from 15th fret to the 20th, then a pull off from there back to the 15th fret, again.  Listening to the slowed down studio recording, it sounds like that is what he is doing.  I'm at 90% now doing that, so I'll just keep going along.  If I...

    "Surfing" with my first Warmoth

Decided to give that one a break, and come back to it.  Moving on the "The Forgotten, Part II." Hardest part of the song, at 90%.  #thoseslidesaretough    :laughing7: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZCrtLGK4Ye4

Crap, made the "Awkward List" again...

These are all so cool!  Trips down memory lane.  Man, if we only knew then what we knew now.  By the way, the article was by a Robert DeSalvo.  Any relation, Frank?  :laughing7: If we only knew then what we know now.  And Fat Pete, I dig that picture! Here was me back around 1992.  Since we...
