I hand cut the pickguard myself. Not perfect but the partial pickup/pickguardeffect looks pretty cool to me. I purposely ordered the body without an F-hole so I could creat my own sound hole.
I recently had a tele thinline body made for me. I asked for an option that they normally don't offer. I wanted a Bloodwood laminate top and they decided to give my my second choice. The body turned out beautifully anyway.
Today I called and asked if I could special order a Fender thinline...

Hello, do you still have the necks? Would you be interested in a trade for a pair of vacuum tube pedals? I have a Tube Works BK Butler Blue Tube and a Guyatone FLIP Metal Monster for your tele necks. thanks, Jeff.
Would you be interested in a trade? Your Warmth Alder tele body for a vacuum tube pedal: Tube Works BK Butler Blue tube or Guyatone FLIP Metal Monster, your choice. Thanks, Jeff.
Would you be interested in a trade for your Warmth roasted Maple Tele neck? I have a Seymour Duncan Twin Tube Blue that I would be willing to trade.
Thanks,
Jeff.
I am constantly learning, glad you are too. Never built a pedal before so I had to try it. Great experience. Working on my next and I have two more. I have an amp kit that I am waiting on the proper board. My favorite guitars are the one's that I have built. Warmoth and my own designs.
I finished the Pile Driver pedal build and it sounds great. No room to fit a vacuum tube inside the housing so it is unmodified. I started building the Persuader pedal kit and it is pretty crowded inside this pedal, so probably no mods here either. I also ordered a Verb Deluxe to be built at a...
I made an attempt to populate the board for the Studio One and I noticed the board I have does not match what the diagram layout displays. I contacted Mojotone and the proper board is on the way.
I ordered Mod Kits DIY Persuader (tube pedal) and a Pile Driver pedal kits. I have some ideas about the circuits of each. The Persuader is tube and transistor and the Pile Driver is strictly transistor. I want to add a tube inside the Pile Driver and I want to be able to switch the transistor in...
I am really impressed with the quality of the parts and workmanship of the Studio One kit. The cab is a thing of beauty. I am looking forward to finish building this amp so I can play it.
Those are interesting, but I would prefer the tube amp. I have a Vox Lil' Night Train which also uses a 12AU7 in the output. I was using a 12BH7 for an output tube until I purchased 6SN7 to 12AU7 (octal to noval adapters) Now I am running a pair of NOS 6SL7s and a 6SN7 octal preamp tubes. Sounds...
I am unable to respond about Mojotone speaker cabs, but the Mojotone Studio One amp cab they sent me with my amplifier kit is world class. And judging from the other responders, i would definitely purchase a Mojotone speaker cab.
Okay.........DON'T LAUGH!...........Last night I installed (not wired) the tube sockets, pots, switch, pilot light, impedance switch, jacks (except channel switch/relay) AC line receptacle...........and then it dawned on me............where's the front and rear face plates? They are on back...
