    Canary Neck Feel.

I'm thinking of trying one. Does anyone know if it's closer to Goncalo Alves (my favorite), or Roasted Maple? Strictly talking feel here, I'm not a tone wood guy.

    FR Nut Rear Neck Screws

I have 3 partscasters with original Floyd Roses on them. The 2 with the rear neck nut screws stay in tune WAY better than the one without those. Is this something others have experienced or is it probably something else?

10 radius floyd nut on 12 radius neck?

Warmoth offers the Floyd Rose R3 rout (which is a 10 radius nut), on a 12-16 radius neck. Is there an easy (if even necessary), fix to make it play as good as possible? I like my action low. Not sure if this is even an issue.

10 radius floyd nut on 12 radius neck

Warmoth says the floyd nut is ideally for a 10" radius neck but says, "We have found that they will work fine on any neck radius between 9" and 12".  Does anyone have experience using the 10" floyd nut on 12" (or compound 12" to 16") radius neck?  I'm wondering if the action will need to be...

    Cat Likes Roasted Maple

So I have a cat that likes to chew on things.  We took to the vet once to see if had some sort of dental problem, but it turned out he's just a jerk.  The only guitar related thing he chews on is roasted maple necks.  I have three guitars with those, and if I make the mistake of leaving one...

    Abbey Road Revisited

Back in 1996 my parents and I went to the UK.  From that vacation I have a photo of my dad and I crossing Abbey Rd. that I keep in my vinyl copy of that album.  This summer my wife, daughter, and I went to the UK, and now I have a picture of my daughter and me in the crossing.  We also made...

NGD (Non-Warmoth) - Pink Paisley Tele

Here's my pink paisley Tele.  It has aged hardware, including Fender locking tuners and a Gotoh In-Tune bridge.  Matte black pickguard.  Manlius Broadcaster pickups with aged look (The bridge pickup has incredibly smooth sounding distortion).  Pink knobs from Anotone.  The neck is maple...

    FRFR Spec Explanation

I'm planning on buying a Kemper or Axe Fx III soon.  I'm looking at FRFR speakers and I've seen one that says:  Reference Class:  Absolutely Linear Frequency Response (+1/-2dB).  Then it goes on to say:  80-25,000 HZ (-6dB).  I'm just learning about FRFR, so I don't understand the two...

    Avoiding high E string fall-off

I just got a tele body with a vintage bridge rout, which means the strings are spread a little bit more than newer bridges.  I'm planning on a 1.650 or 1 5/8 nut width neck.  As long as the nut is cut correctly, I shouldn't have any problem with the E string being too close to the...

    New Body (Non- Warmoth)

Just got this in.  It's an All Parts pink paisley tele body.  I'm planning on adding Bare Knuckles aged pickups (still deciding between humbucker or single coil in the bridge).  The neck will be maple with a dark fretboard from one of the big 3 custom neck makers (I still haven't decided on...

    StewMac stain and tru oil

I applied tru oil to my latest neck and I'm happy with it but on my next neck I want to add some color.  It's my understanding that you apply the Stew Mac liquid stain FIRST, and then add the tru oil finish.  Just wondering if anyone here has done that and how it worked out?

All Parts body ok with custom necks?

I'm planning a pink paisley tele build. The Stratosphere and All Parts sites seem to be light on the specs.  Will an All Parts tele body fit a Warmoth / Musikraft / USACG neck just fine?

Holo Flake / Psychedelic / Relic Strat and Updates

My newest Strat is a hardtail with a Warmoth Holo Flake body.  The neck is a Musikraft quartersawn maple neck with a 14 radius and 90 X 55 SS frets.  The fretboard is Brazilian Walnut (which they say is reclaimed from the Coney Island boardwalk). I finished it myself with Tru Oil.  The...

Tru Oil finish on raw maple neck

I'm thinking about finishing a neck for the first time.  I'm planning on getting a raw maple neck.  I'm wondering if any sanding will be needed before the tru-oil application, or will the neck be good to go right out of the box?  Also, should I be concerned about getting finish in the...

I need to buy a humidifier for my basement where I store my guitars (all electrics, no Grandpas Guitars for me).  Does anyone have any recommendations, and also what's the ideal setting?

    Hard V Neck

My favorite Warmoth profile is the Clapton and I also have a Musikraft soft V neck that I love playing as well.  I'm thinking of getting a neck with a hard, very pronounced, V neck profile sometime in 2018.  I can't find a neck like this in any shop. I'm wondering if anyone here, who is a...

    Anodized Pickguards

I have a gold one on a Strat of mine and I wish Warmoth offered them with the option of getting that 1st volume hole removed (as they do on all their Strat pickguards).  Plenty of other suppliers sell anodized pickguards, but no one makes them without that volume position.

Bridge Saddle Measurement Difference: Big deal or not?

I think I have a bad saddle on one of my Bladeunner trems.  The spacing is 2.10 and they don't sell saddles.  So if I go with a narrow Callaham saddle (made for bridge spacing of 2 1/16) will that fit OK, or is it a big deal if a saddle isn't the perfect size?
