    Website Bugs and Feature Requests

If you contact customer service, you can see about ordering it off menu. I believe it's programmed, but there might be some restrictions.

    Transparent turquoise over different woods?

Trans Turquoise over Roasted Alder. Disclaimer: photography/web colors don't capture the nuance of turquoise, so this is close, but not quite exact.

I rarely use the word "amazing"

To be fair, International and Domestic shipments are transported differently. And International costs a lot more, so it's apples to oranges. If you want your package faster domestically, you can call customer service and upgrade to next day or 2nd day air for UPS, and it will cost you...

    Roasted maple, Vintage tint?

The Roasted neck on the right is Vintage Tint Satin, and the two on the left are unfinished.

Do yourself a favor and don't do what I did...

That's like Lake Pend Orielle. I remembered going as a kid, but as an adult I could never find Lake Ponderay on a map.

Transparent Amber & Sunset Orange finishes?

I only had some Alder examples. Both these colors over Swamp Ash will be brighter and lighter.

    Polyester cures in 12 hours...

@electric__steve is correct. The lead time for paint is not the cure time. It's the time to go through the queue of basecoat, basecoat sanding, other prep like dyeing or taping binding, painting color, topcoat, buffing, etc...

    $15 to ship a $30 pickguard

Warmoth uses UPS and USPS as our shipping carriers. The customer is allowed to choose which ship method they want based on service (UPS=speed and most probability of successful delivery) or price (USPS=Cheap but slow and not as committed to excellent service as UPS). If you do not see USPS as a...

Amber Dye finish with masked binding

@JohnnyHardtail The left photo is a Trans Amber back, but because of the natural masked binding it has the more pronounced burst. The right is also trans amber, but with no burst (and no natural masked binding). If you want the finish on the right, either order regular binding, or no...

Amber Dye finish with masked binding

This is where it gets even more fun. Yellow dye is weird. If it has a burst you can't see it as it blends in with the dye. However it would smooth out any tape lines.

Amber Dye finish with masked binding

@stratamania correct, this only applies to dyed tops. I don't know if it's even possible to explain the back color options and programming in the builder without typing a 30 page paper. The shortest summary I can make is : Originally every back color had 2 options in the builder, either (Burst...

Amber Dye finish with masked binding

@JohnnyHardtail is correct. A burst is required for Natural Masked Binding. This is the only way to get a clean line, (just the dye line with tape will turn out ragged and the painted burst cleans it up) and it also emphasizes the natural masked line. Here's some images.

    Showcase search question... request?

Unless there's a weird return that's put up on the showcase, the only necks with a Tele® heel will be Tele® replacement necks. If you want a different headstock shape, it will have to be a custom order. That being said, off the top of my head, the one neck I can think of on the showcase with a...

Why does the package weigh so much?

The box and packing material are about 2lbs, barring any hardware that is also packed into the box. Shipping carriers charge for the weight of the shipment, or the dimensional weight, whichever is higher. The dimensional weight of the body box is 8lb for UPS.
