Ahhh, the light bulb has gone on. Thought it would be something like the FU Tone setup, but I guess using the baseplate for a humbucker would work. Appreciate the info.

I looked at the "faux-Fu Tone", and it seems all they offer is brass, which I'm not a huge fan of. Anyone know of a steel humbucker base plate?

Is it possible to do a wood mounted humbucker pickup in a route that was cut for a standard pickguard/pickup ring? Have no idea what's involved here and would greatly appreciate info on how to accomplish this.

I've used C,G,C,G,C,D on a 24.75" LP using 0.10's with no ill effect. I do have to be mindful of not power picking/strumming though, as it can get flubby

Curious if different edge radii are available? Can a Tele be ordered with the edge radius of a Strat and vice versa? Can a body be ordered without any edge radius?
Of course, the other factor is the nut width. From my observation, a thinner allows for a thicker neck without feeling weird
I'd also suggest the Wolfgang. I have 2 Standard Thins and 1 Wolfgang. The ST's are nice, but the WF really nails it...for me. Was always hunting thinner necks...
