Yeah, that's a stunningly beautiful guitar! And while I've never heard those pickups personally, I've never heard of anyone going wrong with a set of Lawrence pickups, so I think you knocked the whole build out of the park.

I own an older Warmoth Royale build with PAF style pickups. 24.75" scale length, TOM/STP bridge, etc. For all intents and purposes, it's an LP, and even though it's a bolt-on, it absolutely lives in that LP territory. I honestly don't think anyone could tell the difference in a blind listening...

I've recently been using the Victory V4 version of The Jack. It's a full tube preamp with a solid state power section and built in Two Notes DynIR's. You can also (simultaneously) plug it into a speaker cabinet if you have a way to mic one up. It's great for playing quietly, or with headphones...

Answering question 2, I know they've done sharper body radii as a super custom option in the past. You might want to get a hold of customer service. Worst they can do is say no.
