Warmoth build #3 Dinky J-bass Seymour Duncan sjb-2 pups - I now can say that the wood definately effects the tone cause my p-bass has the same bridge pup and the two are night and day, the p-bass is bright and punchy with swamp ash and maple and the j-bass is dark and thunderous with a vintage...

accidently just bought this showcase canary neck. Ill soon be getting a dinky j-bass body and all the hardware to go with it. I cant decide between seymour duncan sjb2's or fender custom 60 pickups if anyone has any input

The whole statement was ment to be taken with a grain of salt- to say metallica owes me money is just riddiculous, but its irritating when your first copy is ruined in a car accident and your second copy is stolen- now I keep them at home and carry burnt copies. As far as your live show analogy...

My dad believes once you buy an album you should have listening rights to it. He boght the Beatles white album on vinyl when it came out, then on cassette tape, then twice on cd. Looks good for sure- probably have to call for it, I noticed canary isnt available in the bass neck builder. Im a carpenter and Ive done decks with this stuff (ipe), looks freakin awesome- all I can say is when your dealing with 1.25"x5.5"x16' this stuff is freakin HEAVY!

Im pretty sure fender did it first, although Ive never actually seen one with this crazy pickgaurd.....or black hardware for that matter. Go for it, but Id recomend the trem, dive bombs are sweet (Im a little whammy happy though :occasion14:)
