I was pleased with the design of the dinky jazz bass that's nearing completion, but that's going to a home far away, so I decided to do a Tele 'companion piece' that may or may not remain in my possession. Anyway...we'll see...

Sad to say I don't know the answer to this, but are Fender Jazz and P-Bass necks interchangeable? That is, will a Jazz neck fit a P-Bass correctly? Thanks for the help...I figured THIS was the place to ask.

Strat: mahogany neck  w/ebony fngrbrd on swamp ash body, Duncan 'antiquity' p-ups, masked binding. Tele: Mahogany neck w/flamed koa headstock veneer, ebony fngrbrd on mahogany body, masked binding, Duncan 'antiquity' & 'l'il '59 p-ups.

Shocking that it took this long, but I finally got to first bass! Swamp ash G4, Duncan 'Bassline' pickups...

Is it a giraffe with a beak? Is it an eagle with ears? Hell, I dunno, but it IS my current project--call it what you like...

I know I've asked this before, but I can't find the post...and I'm stoopid, so would someone please be kind enough to walk me through getting the GOM banner onto my personal page (or whatever THAT is called)? I'm really hopeless at this stuff!

What have you folks found to be the best way to cut these screws down so they aren't ripping up your right hand when they're too long & sharp?

As some of you may know, my email address is bluemonkey48, and it dawned on me that, if that's the case, and I'm putting the BlueMonkey name on the guitars I build, then a Warmoth BlueMonkey in fact named 'BlueMonkey' was long overdue, so....
