Bartolini TC3 booster pre-amp

I just installed a Bartolini TC3 booster pre-amp in my 5 string G5 bass.  What a wonderful, economic addition .  This little guy is only $34  and depending on configuration can give you either clean boost ( up to 30db) or onboard overdrive at the turn of a knob.  I've got it set for max clean boost on the bridge ( .1uF cap and 470 ohm resistor in series to ground for the boost lead) No extra knob required  . It really wakes things up without adding noise.  Works for guitar or bass . Many different options for wiring .

Yeah, I'm using a TC-5 in a build I'm in the process of doing, which is the same as a TC-3, but with 6dB instead of 12dB "unboosted" gain. They also make 2 channel versions - the TC-2, TC4 and TC-6.

It's an inexpensive, flexible and interesting piece, but, as is typical of Bartolini stuff, the documentation could be much better.
