I always like a Martin simply adorned, rather than encrusted with all that bling they tend to put on their high-end tech-money models. D28 is the nuts.

Awesome! My dad has one from the late 70’s and it’s my ideal acoustic guitar sound. I can hear a difference when I play mahogany dreads vs rosewood dreads and it’s because I hear my dads guitar when ever I play

Yep, rosewood and hog bodies sound quite different. I describe it as rosewood is more open and has overtones while hog is very focused. I actually had some work also done to my hog body dread yesterday. An Alvarez BG that is a D18 killer.
