Spud, do you mess with the limiter on the Mach 3? It's a little weird compared to a pedal in terms of how it hits your signal but for me around 75% on a clean channel creates a nice spongy feel. Results depend heavily on your Gain, Dist Bst, and overall front end level.

I do. I love it. Sometimes I like something out front for a different feel too. Or mix and match. I use the gain knob a lot but usually for more dirt do pedals.

The gain feels and sounds like power tubes adding some breakup to me.
