    One more for the road

Thanks everybody! One day I'd like to try my hand at making my own necks (I imagine it would take some practice to get them as nice as Warmoth), but I think this is legitimately my last build for the near future. The problem with guitars (and especially Warmoth builds) is they always seem to...

Wood mounted humbuckers in routes for not wood mounted humbuckers...doable?

Many humbucker base plates are made of nickel-silver alloy like this https://www.mojotone.com/Humbucker-Short-Leg-Frame-Nickel-Silver-49-2mm I don't think you'll find a steel one

Wood mounted humbuckers in routes for not wood mounted humbuckers...doable?

On my baritone build I used the mounting method where you screw a humbucker baseplate to the bottom of the pickup cavity like a "faux-Fu Tone"

Well, she's all done! Pickup rings are still a bit lighter colored than I'd like, but this guitar really turned out killer! Sounds and plays great and is also really comfortable.

    Jazzmaster Routing Disappointment

The bridge pickup route on a Warmoth JM pickguard (and Warmoth JM bodies) is slightly further from the bridge than on a Fender.

    Pickups

Perhaps the two pickups are out of phase with each other? The fix for that would be reversing the hot and ground wires on one of the pickups

First Warmoth build, I think I'm going to need some help

Looks great! I would not have thought to put dye on a koa top, but after the sanding and resin it looks really good! Yes, the sticker should come off (y)
