.720 Mod...

'Sorry if this has already been asked. Does anyone know if the .720 mod works with a Fender American Standard hardtail bridge (can saddles be adjusted low enough),
or does it have to have a recessed Floyd?

I believe it does but I'm not positive. I do know that it doesn't have to be a Floyd; it works fine on my two guitars with a Hipshot hardtail and tremolo.

Sounds good. I assume that neither of those are recessed.

I've set up one guitar with the 720 pocket and a six block saddle Tele bridge (same saddles as the Fender hardtail) and that did work, however as I recall that neck also had very low frets and the saddle height screws were sticking out the top of the saddles a little bit. I imagine if you have to clear larger frets then that won't be a problem.
