My first Warmoth Bass. All I did was rub on a finish hacked away with my soldering gun and screw it together. Everything fit really well and it actually works! Thanks Warmoth!  :headbang1:

Nicely done. Hope your hacking was subdued, as Warmoths don't deserve to be hacked on.

Welcome Bob, nice grain on that body, and nice color. You did put something on the neck too, right?

I took that to he self deprecating reference to soldering up the electronics, not relicing.  nice job!

The neck has the nitro vintage application. It seems great just the way it is. I am really impressed with the neck. Its got a really thick slab of ebony. Its weird I feels like really similar to my martin acoustic. I didn't even need to adjust the truss rod. It has the graphite rods which seem to make it very stable. I used the Nordstrand NJ4SV Vintage Hum-Cancelling pickups with a Emerson wire harness. I probably won't recommend investing so much money into your first build. I worked really slowly and didn't have any problems. The soldering threw off a little. Again the first time soldering on 200 dollars pickups can rattle the nerves. If I had to chance to do it all over I would recommend buying one of those cheap DIY kits to practice on. The only problem is its screwing up my practice routine. I limit my sessions time wish so I don't over do it but I can put the dam thing down. Its sounds so gooood!  :headbanging:

That's good. The reason I asked was that the neck looks like unfinished maple in the picture. Just want to be sure there was something on it to protected your warranty.  :icon_thumright:
