Showcase alder body, four coats of blue stain with lots of sanding between, four coats of Wipe On Poly. Mint green pickguard. GFS Surf 90 and Dream 90, standard JM electronics.

Will have a purpleheart neck soon!

Very nearly finished; visually it's done. I've got some setup and electronic problems to even out. To the unknowing like me, the complete vintage Jazzmaster array is much more complex than a Strat!

Another very nice JM! Never seen stained Alder before, interesting effect. I too would like to see some close-ups of that neck.

You guys have me REALLY itching to get started on my own Jazzy. Planning's almost done, (LMFAO!), anyway, its getting close. Good luck with your new toy!

Details:
I decided I wanted to have something with the JM pickups, and they only rout for that on this body. So I got an ash replacement. I think most of the credit for the great looking finish goes to that ash, the grain is so amazing.

Boatneck purpleheart neck with pau ferro. I will post more pictures after work.

hoping i resized these correctly

I made the two way switch the main selector, not crazy for the middle pos sound. after some youtube, I will absolutely put in a dummy coil.
