Side Udjustment

I just did a new strat build..

I have been looking over the side adjustment instructions on the Warmoth pro neck I have.

Am I to assume the turning it clockwise (if you are facing the adjuster) will tighten the rod and straighten the neck and turning it counter-clockwise will loosen the rod and cause some bow??

The info on their site is not great and I want to make sure I have this right...

It's a new build and my first Warmoth neck and I am having a good time trying to learn and get this stuff right.

Any info would be appreciated...

Yes, but loosening the rod will allow some relief, not bow. Bow is back-bend.

The side adjust is the fine adjustment.  For initial install you'll want to adjust the heel first.

That is what I thought.. The instructions say to make the neck flat then reset the side adjuster.. should I build a bit of bow in instead of making it totally flat before I reset the side adjuster?

Pretty much. If you haven't touched anything the side adjust is already in the 'reset' position.  The reset instructions are only if you reach the limit of the side adjust.
