I've been pining over the WGD style for years. I like what I got.

Is that a poplar body?
Routed for P90 and humbucker I see. Nice. That's the favorite pickup combo for some of the members here.
And you're getting the Schaller bridge on it. Should be really sweet when it's finished. Looking forward to this.
What color do you have in mind for it?

Yes poplar, chosen for the price and because it usually looks good under:

TV yellow-ish Minwax stain is my plan.

For anyone who hasn't held one and is wondering, this body shape is a bit bigger than an SG and has the full 1-3/4" thickness like a Strat. And just from a few minutes holding the body and neck together, very comfortable.

And I got a Surf90 bridge and Mini Liverpool from GFS, probably the last ones available without the quikplug thing.
